Love the decor and vibe of this restaurant! So green and beautiful! Great for a first stop for date night before bopping to a cocktail bar! There is also a mocktail menu here, so perfect option if you are looking for a zero proof drink. Pro tip! Order from the drink menu as there are lots of unique drinks!

One of the things I enjoyed most about Fandi Mata is the ambiance..The combination of plants, textiles, music and different levels gave me a sense that I was in a different part of the world....Drazen, My server was excellent with his recommendations for food and drinks for brunch... I ordered a pitcher of Mimosas... My dish picture below was a smoked salmon on top of a potato wedge with poached eggs in a hollandaise sauce... The pizza was an appetizer for the table the gnocchi was in comforting and delicious

blends Mediterranean flavors with a stunning, plant-filled ambiance that feels like an escape in the heart of Williamsburg. High ceilings, warm lighting, and a laid-back vibe make it a great spot for dinner and drinks. Parking is moderately easy during the week, which is a plus. What We Ordered: Food: - Meatballs (4/5):** Moist, flavorful, and smothered in rich tomato sauce with parmesan. - Chicory Salad (3.7/5): Blue cheese, pear, and brown butter vinaigrette--solid, but needed more dressing. - Croquetas (4/5): Bacon, date, manchego, and horseradish aioli. Crispy, creamy, and well-balanced. - Bufalina Pizza (4/5): Fresh cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and basil on a light, airy crust. - Handcut Spaghetti (4/5): Cherry tomato sauce and parmesan--simple, fresh, and satisfying. - Tiramisu (4/5): Creamy mascarpone with espresso; could use a stronger coffee kick. - Pistachio Gelato (4/5):Smooth, nutty, and just the right sweetness. Drinks: The cocktails are well-crafted, balanced, and not overly strong. - Big in Japan (4/5): Frothy, herbal, and refreshing with gin, Pimm's, and honey-raspberry elixir. - Voyageur Passionné (4/5): Light, fruity, and floral with vodka, passion fruit purée, and St. Germain. - Sabrosa (3.7/5): Smoky, spicy mezcal with pineapple cinnamon syrup and Ancho Reyes Verde. @fandimatabklyn is a must-visit for Mediterranean-inspired dining in Brooklyn. With its vibrant atmosphere, flavorful food, and expertly crafted cocktails, it's a perfect spot for a night out, whether you're meeting friends or looking for a great dining experience in Williamsburg. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us select our meals and drinks. The bill was $204 after tax and tip (restaurant week menu)

The place is bigger inside than it seems from the outside. Atmosphere is like an open garage feel. Lots of plants and foliage. The service was good. They really tried. Our waitress seemed new as she had to get certain things verified but she was sweet all the same. The food was good. I had the avocado toast with s side of smoked salmon. I also had the arugula salad. Both were delicious. To drink I had the PG13 non-alcoholic drink which was great. I finished my meal off with an espresso gelato. Yum!! I came with a friend and she enjoyed her food as well. All in all, it was a good time. Worth the checking out.

I tried this place for brunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. Diana and Emily served us, and they were great. The place was super cute. We ordered the pg13 mocktail and the Espresso Martini, which were great. For food: Octopus Deviled Eggs Arugula Salad Omlete with potatoes Avacado toast Chocolate tart cappuccino gelato The food was good. I just wish the onion was cooked more in the Omlete. I really enjoyed the chocolate tart. All in all, it was a good experience.

I was looking for places to have a large brunch with a group of 13 people and I am so happy I found Fandi Mata. Their coordinator was incredibly nice when I emailed to inquire about the possibility about such a large party. I was pleasantly surprised to have been given the option to order a set menu vs. A la carte. We opted for a la carte since this was more of a casual brunch with family and we didn't want it to have the formal event vibes. We made a reservation in advance and had no issues with seating. When we arrived we were seared immediately. I was so amazed by how beautiful and spacious this restaurant is. The ceilings are so high, there is so much greenery-- it's definitely a change from the crammed spaces of Manhattan. Our server came to get our orders for food and drinks. I tried the Hugo which I really enjoyed. They also offer some large pitchers to share for the table which seems like a good deal for large parties so we ordered a mimosa pitcher which was pretty good. For food I tried: - croquetas: we ordered two orders of these to try and they were okay! The croqueta itself was adequately crispy with a nice moist inside. However, I am too used to savory croquetas and the dates inside these really threw me off. If sweet and savory fried foods are your thing, definitely order these! - deviled eggs: very good! Portion was pretty small for the price but I enjoyed the tangy and almost spicy like horseradish, with the balance of the mayo and the hint of dill. Very good! - arugula salad: citrusy, refreshing, simple! If you want some greens this is a good app. - omelette: most people in the table got omelettes and they were pretty good! They were generously filled with spinach, onions and cheese. The flavors were amazing. Some people added chorizo or salmon and they really enjoyed them. I got mine without any extra toppings but did get it with egg whites which was very good!! (Forgot to picture the egg white one but it was very nice). -French toast: favorite thing I tried! The toast was thick, with the perfect crispy crust, the spices were warm, and really complemented the mildly sweet blueberry compote and creamy whipped ricotta. Would order a whole one for myself next time. -desserts: we ordered 3 of their desserts to try. The tiramisu was okay-- the cream to cake ratio seemed a low and the cake vs. Lady fingers also threw me off. The pistachio gelato was creamy and delicious. My favorite was the butterscotch pudding... it was so silky, perfectly sweet, and with a nice crunchy topping. Overall, really liked this place, especially for a large group brunch! Their space is open and allows for comfortable accommodation of a large party. There are several options on the menu to make everyone happy. Would come back again.

My new favorite restaurant in NY! So much to say but the most important thing to note is FRESH ingredients and nice portion sized food options. We came in for lunch on a Sunday so it was pretty empty and got a chance to chat with the owner/manager. I MUST come back for dinner. Thanks again for the free dessert!

Fandi Mata is a very cool place. It means to connect. It is Mediterranean inspired. It takes on artisanal, global cuisine inspired by the vast Mediterranean region. The menu features classics with a contemporary touch and aims to incorporate eclectic, world-driven cuisine while effortlessly familial hospitality experience. The upstairs is so cool. I love the open atmosphere and the very eclectic feel of the place - I think it was old steel mill. It is a huge place in Williamsburg.

Had a great meal during restaurant week. We reached right at the end of happy hour so they let us sit at the bar until happy hour was done and we then took our drinks to the table. The chicken was so tender and moist almost melting in your mouth. Everything felt so healthy airy and lite. I didn't feel like my belly was heavy leaving here. I felt good and the passion drinks was amazing , I had a couple and it got me niceee. The burrata was so good and creamy with the toppings on it gave a nice balance. The mahi mahi with the eggplant was really good and flavorful, everyone was digging out of my Plate.
